The Museum Audio Archive is software developed for the Parrish Art Museum that facilitates online publishing of audio programs including lectures, discussions and exhibition guides. Based upon our CollectiveAccess software, the Archive includes powerful audio processing features and a full set of descriptive cataloguing tools that allow Museum staff members to add new programs quickly and easily. It can automate many repetitive production tasks such as audio file format conversion, addition of standardized introduction audio, sizing and conversion of photographs, handling of related documents (programs, handouts and the like) and RSS feed creation, saving time and money and allowing museum staff to concentrate their efforts on expanding the array of programs on the site.
Program list
Exhibition audio guides as well as recordings of museum-hosted symposiums, panel discussions and lectures are made available in the Archive.
