Whirl-i-Gig
Produced in conjunction with the American Museum of Natural History's Darwin exhibit by the Museum Library, the Darwin Digital Library of Evolution is an ambitious project whose ultimate goal is to make the full literature of evolution freely available online. For this initial phase of the project a core set of Darwin's writings — some never before presented online — were digitized and annotated. Whirl-i-Gig designed a specialized digital archive, search engine and conversion processes capable of accommodating and delivering online complex and varied document structures.
