Whirl-i-Gig
Whirl-i-Gig developed PaleoCat for the American Museum of Natural History Division of Paleontology to manage their vast collection of fossil reptiles, mammals, fish and invertebrates. The system is based upon the same foundations as our CollectiveAccess software, with many extensions specific to paleontology. It includes extensive label-generation capabilities and is able to output custom labels matching formats long in use at the museum. The software includes a DiGIR data provider service and is integrated with the PaleoPortal collections search portal.
