A project of the Center for Biodiversity Conservation
at the American Museum of Natural History, the Southeast Asian Conservation Library is a source
for current and historic documents, journal articles, maps, images, and other resources to aid
those working to conserve biodiversity in Mainland Southeast Asia. A field guide provides detailed background information
on the species inhabiting the region.
Whirl-i-Gig designed all
aspects of the site, from the visual design by Maria Passarotti
to the underlying archive management software.
The illustrations used in the field guide and elsewhere on the site were created by Joyce Powzyk
for the Center for Biodiversity Conservation at the American Museum of Natural History.
The field guide highlights many of the unique and fascinating bird and mammal species living in Southeast Asia.
